Some of our favourite moments in Mudgee weren't recommendations. They were the little discoveries in between.
A homewares shop that somehow has exactly what you didn't know you were looking for. A quiet sculpture tucked between heritage buildings. The smell of fresh pastries drifting across Market Street. A bookshop where an hour disappears unnoticed.
The most personal homes are rarely furnished all at once. They're collected over time, with pieces found on weekends away, slow afternoons and journeys well travelled. A handmade bowl. A linen napkin. A print that always reminds you of Mudgee.
The joy is in wandering. Follow your curiosity rather than your itinerary. You never know what you'll take home.
